Renegade Thermal Scope Review |

I had the chance to use a Renegade thermal sight not to long ago on a hog hunt in Texas. We had a good group of guys with a variety of weapons and optics. Some guys had night vision scopes which I have had the pleasure of using before but some of the guys had thermal sights. One gentleman had this Renegade thermal scope. I had never used the thermal before and he was kind enough to give me a go at it. We actually shared and everyone got to use everyone else's hot piece of gear. I shot a Specter IR, a TAM 14 and the Renegade. OH BOY FUN. The Renegade was far superior to the other Thermals and after the experience lets just say I would never again waste my money on a "night Vision" scope. Thermal is the way to go. The Renegade had such a clean image. It was super easy to use and shot true every time. We never had it on a .308 or anything but the guy who owned it claimed it would hold up. We shot it from a selection of AR's. As soon as I can save up the money I will have one of these.
